I had the honor of shooting the best Royal Palms Wedding Photos for Arizona Finest Wedding Sites magazine! This shoot was just one amazing experience after another.  Arizona’s Finest Wedding Sites magazine contacted me to shoot the cover and a four page feature story on the Royal Palm Hotel.  The Royal Palm is one of my favorite hotels ever and I consider it one of the best wedding venues in the state.   I watched it through a foreclosure over a decade ago and I watched the new owners restore and revitalize the property and visited frequently once they opened.  It’s a great place for date night or a special dinner at T. Cooks, or to have drinks or sit by the fire on a cold night.  Can you imagine my excitement about being asked to shoot there?  WOW!  On top of that, Nonny’s would style the event, Sugar Plum would do the candy table, Tiffany’s supplied jewelry.  What more could a photographer ask for?!  Oh ya, a stunning beautiful bride and groom. There were so many beautiful photos of the entire day it was hard to pick my favorites. Did I mention how yummy all the deserts were? The Royal Palms made a delishious cake and Debbie Kennedy from Sugar Plum Designs did the most amazing candy table. Everyone performed flawlessly and here are just a sneak peek at some of the unpublished photos from the shoot.  Check out the issue of the magazine available on news stands now.

angelicagapit - The focus on some photos are really beautiful! And the subjects are beautiful as well! It seems like they had a perfect wedding. The groom actually looks quite handsome and these photos make him look like an actual model for a luxurious clothing brand.

    Good job Desert Ridge!

JassyBaby - Every last one of these pictures are just flawless. The picture of the bride by herself looking down is just amazing. She is just beautiful. My favorite picture is the ring. The color is just so realistic and beautiful. I would definitely look for you guys to come photograph my wedding, which will be soon hopefully. Great work.

RoseColoredGlasses - I am in absolute awe after seeing the vibrancy and clarity of the amazing colors. I have yet to ever see so much brilliance in so many photos. Your retouching skills have to be absolutely perfect to achieve what you have in these photos. Beautiful is a total understatement!

KatyWallace - Incredibly beautiful pictures! I love the expression in all the pictures. They all look so happy. I think you really captured the moment.
The lighting in every pictures looks perfect. Did you use any special lighting or is this all just ambient light because it really looks like in a fairy tale.
And look at that ring! Wow!

mirrorslens - I can see why you thought it was an amazing experience — everything looks stunning! I’m in love with the bride’s dress. It’s such a unique style; it makes me think of 1920s flapper dresses, but with just enough modern styling choices to not make it feel too much like a Great Gatsby costume. You did an amazing job capturing how the venue really adds and complements an already beautiful couple’s special day. The scenery for the bride and groom’s portraits really add something to the overall composition — it’s definitely a great advertisement for the venue.

DrmrBlss - What a sublime opportunity! The entire wedding is stunning, from the ring to the hotel. The bride is absolutely gorgeous. That ring is unbelievable (leave it to Tiffany’s)! The bride’s gown looks like a Grecian dream. I really enjoy the shot of the palms against the bright blue sky.

Linkzelda41 - The portrait of the female is absolutely stunning. With subtle makeup, she still maintains a natural beauty, and I love the angle you’ve made with the head to mid-torso shot of her!

The next photograph of her standing while you provide an interesting angle of the clouds is absolutely amazing as well. She definitely is expressing herself in a way where she feels alive and radiant. I can see why this is considered one of your favorite hotels, and based on the photographs you’ve made for this, you clearly showed that you were diligent in making the best shoots that you possibly could for the moment.

I loved how you kept things professional and still was able to be laid back and casual about this. I guess it’s due to your experiential learning of photography to get used to the pressures and seeing them in a different perspective.

Wonderful pictures as always, and keep up this flexibility you have! Getting any photography in a magazine such as this that captures beauty and radiance so well must definitely be an honor for you! Of course, I bet these types of things ease into your workflow.
